I also buy the big 10lb bag of carrots and using my crinkle cutter, I sit and chop them all into sticks, add a little cold water to the bag, and VOILA! sticks for the week. cheaper than buying those baby carrots!MamaJuniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02105366971083593452noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002109497664380714.post-899410612011484542010-07-27T13:36:02.016-06:002010-07-27T13:36:02.016-06:00I can't tell you how much I agree with your po...I can't tell you how much I agree with your post!!!! having things cut up and ready and meals in the freezer is a life saver.

I do the same with french toast except I use regular bread, make the french toast, flash freeze, and put back in the bag. Then you pop it in the toaster.

I love the bagel pizza idea you gave a while back, too!

Thanks for the reminder...sometimes I forget about all the good things you can do ahead of time!Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00024521910881889354noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002109497664380714.post-73696483463240430992010-07-27T06:38:41.495-06:002010-07-27T06:38:41.495-06:00Your first two lines had me laughing out loud, poo...Your first two lines had me laughing out loud, poor thing! Some fantastic ideas in this post. My Mom got one of the Make A Mix cookbooks a good 30 years ago and we cooked a week at a time out of it. I like to make extra and freeze portions as well. Less cooking is more time for crafting and reading! I did not know about putting a paper towel under the lettuce in the bag and will do so immediately. Hang on ... summer is almost over! Thanks for the wonderful ideas!jayayceebloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05894164273378530006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4002109497664380714.post-76453310083151147072010-07-26T18:58:35.585-06:002010-07-26T18:58:35.585-06:00Tina, I am right with you on the chaotic summer fu...Tina, I am right with you on the chaotic summer fun!
